I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in central Texas, specializing in trauma. Life can throw some curveballs that leave us feeling angry, lost, and wondering if we're losing it. Whether it's trauma from the past or the chaos of today, I get it, and you're not alone. Trauma can cast a long shadow, making every day feel like a battle. And those moments when you're bursting with anger, or you're just lost, they're part of the journey too. Here's the truth: you're not crazy, and you're not a bad person, parent or partner. You're human, dealing with complex emotions, just like the rest of us. And guess what? I firmly believe that all behavior makes sense, even when it feels chaotic or confusing. I specialize in helping folks like you navigate this journey. Together, we'll work through the pain, the anger, and the feelings of being lost. No judgment, just understanding and support - coupled with evidence based therapeutic interventions. As a former foster parent and now adoptive mom, I can relate to the challenges and struggles of caring for children with trauma and super hard behaviors. My passion is for every family member to feel seen, heard, and accepted. I offer family therapy, parent coaching, individual and couples counseling - as well as play therapy for ages 3+. I believe in looking beyond the behaviors and into the brain and body science to gain insight in to the ways we think, feel and behave. Through nervous system support, safety, and connection, we will work together to accomplish your goals for yourself or family. I am trained in EMDR, the neurobiology of relational science, and attachment theory.
